This years 2009 Formosan Cup will be held over 3 days at 3 different parks.
The Mens tournament kicks off Saturday Aug 1st and continues through August 2nd. At the same time we have the co-ed recreational tournament which is perfect for younger less experienced teams to come out and have some fun. Parks: The co-ed competitive fun begins Sunday August 2nd, and carries through to August 3rd. The 3 parks being used this year are the traditional Milliken Mills Center Softball Diamonds. Denison Park at the corner of Denison and Teddington Ave/Mallory Rd (Two lights east of Kenedy Rd) And Ashton Meadows at Woodbine and 16th Ave. ELGIBILITY: Each team must be comprised of players on Asian descent but may have 3 non-Asian players per rosters. All non-Asian players are subject to approval by the TCAT Formosan Cup Committee and must be discussed prior to the tournament weekend. Female players are eligible to play for BOTH REC Co-Ed and COMP Co-Ed. However, male players are only eligible to play for either a REC Co-Ed team OR a COMP Co-Ed team, NOT BOTH. Failure to comply with any of the rules and regulations stipulated by the Formosan Cup Committee may result in the disqualification of a player or team without any compensation. ALL PLAYERS, INCLUDING TEAM REPRESENTATIVES, COACHES OR MANAGERS ARE RESPONSIBLE, AND MAY BE HELD LIABLE FOR MISCONDUCT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE TCAT FORMOSAN CUP COMMITTEE.
